February 2017 - six and a quarter

Why yes, I would take the most "refined" of these three dresses and add an almost obnoxiously bright pink blazer to it! If you haven't noticed yet, at six and a quarter we like all things BRIGHT and BOLD. Be daring - go for something a step outside your comfort zone! All the black grounds the bright pink and so it still makes for a very classy work-appropriate outfit. Trade in that stuffy sheath dress for a soft (and stretchy!) sweater dress.

We all know matching accessories are not required, but sometimes it might just make up the perfect look! Our princess-seamed ikat dress includes multiple shades of blue - from light to medium to dark blue, to purple-blue indigo and deep deep blue to black. Cobalt, navy, royal blue...and the golden background pairs perfectly with these lapis lazuli gold-wrapped accessories. (Suddenly I find myself a bit obsessed with lapis!)

Winter dressing in dark mornings can get tough and I often find myself reverting to a dark grey and black super basic winter wardrobe. This ikat floral dress + leggings is a super easy throw-it-on outfit that will keep you warm and comfortable while adding a pop of color to break through the dreary grey winter.
